These terms cover the TV Art Manager application and the tvartmanager.com website ("TV Art Manager", "we", "us"). By downloading or using TV Art Manager you agree to them. They are written to be read, not to frighten.
The free version
The free version is free, with no time limit and no expiry, for personal and commercial use alike. No account is required and none exists.
Pro licenses
A TV Art Manager Pro license is a one-time purchase that permanently enables the Pro features of the app for you, the buyer. It is a personal license: it covers you, on all of your computers, with no seat limit or activation. It is not a license to redistribute; please do not publish or resell your key. Your email address is embedded in the key so that a leaked key is traceable.
The license is perpetual. It never expires, and it does not depend on any server of ours continuing to exist.
Samsung, Art Mode, and compatibility
TV Art Manager is an independent product. It is not affiliated with, authorized by, endorsed by, sponsored by, or in any way officially connected to Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd. or any of its subsidiaries. Samsung, The Frame, and related names, marks, and logos are trademarks of Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd., used only to describe the hardware this app works with.
Art Mode is a local interface that Samsung does not document and may change or withdraw at any time, on any model, through a firmware update. We cannot promise that any particular TV or firmware will keep working. What we promise is that the app never simulates a result: when the TV refuses something, the app shows you the TV's exact answer. If a change on Samsung's side breaks Pro for your TV, our refund policy applies whatever the date of purchase.
Purchases and billing
All purchases are processed by Paddle.com as merchant of record. Paddle handles payment, applicable taxes, and receipts, and their buyer terms apply to the transaction. We never see your payment details.
Refunds are described in our refund policy: 14 days, no questions asked.
Your images
Your images are yours, entirely. The app copies them into its own data folder on your disk and sends them to your TV, and nowhere else. We claim no rights over them, we cannot access them, and we do not want to.
What the app may delete
The app deletes artwork from the TV only when you confirm a deletion, or, with automation on, only artwork that it has itself uploaded and recorded as its own. It never deletes Samsung's artwork or content it cannot positively identify as its own. On your disk it deletes only its own copies, after confirmation. Your original files are never modified or removed.
Acceptable use
Do not use TV Art Manager to break the law, and do not attempt to disrupt the website or the purchase flow. That is the whole list.
Warranty and liability
TV Art Manager is provided "as is". We work hard to make it reliable, but we cannot promise it is free of defects, and we cannot control what a TV manufacturer changes. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim related to TV Art Manager is limited to the amount you paid for it. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, and nothing in them affects the statutory rights your local consumer law gives you.
Changes
If these terms change, the date above changes with them, and material changes will be noted on this page. Terms never change retroactively for a license you already bought.
