Privacy Policy

The short version: the app collects nothing, the website counts events and never people, and the one time we learn anything about you is when you buy something, because a receipt needs an email address.
The app
TV Art Manager has no accounts, no telemetry, no analytics, and no crash reporting. Your images live in the app's data folder on your disk and go to your TV over your own network. They are never transmitted to us. We could not see them if we wanted to; there is no pipe.
The app makes one request outside your network: a copy downloaded from this site fetches a small file from tvartmanager.com once a day that says which version is the newest, so the About page can tell you when an update exists. That request carries the version you are running and nothing else: no identifier, no account, nothing about you or your TV. Cloudflare, which serves the file, sees your IP address transiently as any web server does. A copy installed from the Microsoft Store never makes it, because the Store handles its updates.
License keys are verified entirely on your machine. There is no activation server to log you.
The website
tvartmanager.com sets no cookies and asks for no consent, because there is nothing to consent to. It is served through Cloudflare, which processes visitor IP addresses transiently to deliver the site and defend it from abuse.
We count what happens on the site: pages viewed, and a handful of deliberate actions such as starting a download or opening the checkout. Each of those is stored as a single row holding the name of the event, the page path (never the query string), the site that linked you here, and your country. There is no cookie, no identifier stored on your device, no fingerprint, and no IP address in the record, so two visits cannot be recognised as the same person, by us or by anyone reading the data. The rows are held by Cloudflare Analytics Engine, on our own account, for three months, and are never shared or sold. The trade is deliberate: we can see that a page was viewed a thousand times, and we can never see who viewed it.
The checkout is an overlay from Paddle, our merchant of record, loaded only when you press the buy button. If you open it, Paddle collects what a payment legally requires (email, billing country, payment details) under Paddle's privacy policy. We receive your email address and what you bought, never your payment details. Each completed purchase is counted as one anonymous row on our own Cloudflare account, holding nothing but the fact that a purchase happened.
If you use the key recovery form, the address you type is sent to our license service so it can ask Paddle what that address bought and email your key back to you. The address is not stored: the service keeps no database at all, and rebuilds your key from the purchase record every time.
When you write to us through the contact form, what you type (your name, your email address and your message) is passed to Mage Forms, our own form relay running on Cloudflare, which emails it to us and keeps no copy. The form is protected by Cloudflare Turnstile, a challenge that replaces a CAPTCHA and sets no tracking cookie; it is the only page on the site that loads anything from a third party before you press a button. Your message reaches us as an email and is kept as correspondence, nothing more; the address is never added to a mailing list, because we have none.
What we keep
Almost nothing. Paddle holds the record of each sale: who bought what, and when. We run no customer database of our own; when you need your key resent, it is rebuilt from Paddle's purchase record on the spot. We do not send marketing email. If you write to support, we keep the correspondence.
Your rights
Write to us to ask what we hold about you, to have it corrected, or to have it deleted. Deleting a purchase record also deletes our ability to resend your key, so we will confirm before doing it. Whatever data-protection law applies where you live (GDPR, LGPD, CCPA, or another), we honour its requests the same way.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date above changes with it, and material changes will be noted on this page.
